Steve Bernard Milles Chimombo is a Malawian writer, poet, editor and teacher. He was born on 4th September, 1945 in Zomba district. He was awarded a masters degree and a PhD in pedagogics at the University of Columbia in United States of America. Steve Chimombo is currently a professor of English at the University of Malawi TheƂ Chancellor College and is considered one of the nations leadership writers. He is the author of the well known collection of poems called the Napolo poems.
